LOS ANGELES, July 27, 2011 - Premiere Networks host Blair Garner announced today he is taking After MidNite on the road this year to bring listeners backstage at several superstar concerts. In addition to exclusive interviews with Country music's biggest artists, Garner will give his 2.7 million weekly listeners a sneak peak as they get ready to take the stage at major venues across the country.

"We want to give our listeners a chance to hear from the artists while on the road, and pull back the curtain a bit and share some of what it takes to put on a show," said Garner. "This past week, we were in Los Angeles and spoke with Dolly Parton and her manager backstage at the Hollywood Bowl, and then we went backstage at The Greek Theatre and spoke with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush." In addition to Nettles and Bush, Garner also spoke with Sugarland's manager Gail Gellman, who spoke about the unique qualities that drew her to the group initially; the production manager responsible for setting up the stage set at every stop; the lead chef who travels with the tour; and their opening act Casey James.

In addition to Sugarland (airs Saturday, July 30) and Dolly Parton (airs Sunday, July 31), Garner and the After MidNite crew will travel to Cincinnati for Tim McGraw's tour, Detroit to cover Kenny Chesney, and Tampa to catch up with Brad Paisley. Additional tour stops will be announced in the near future.

Due to scheduling, the backstage interviews are recorded in advance just hours before the artists take the stage and are aired on After MidNite the following weekend.
