The Big D and Bubba Show to Launch on American Forces Radio Network

LOS ANGELES, November 16, 2011 -- Premiere Networks is pleased to announce The Big D and Bubba Show, one of the most-widely-syndicated Country morning radio shows in the U.S., will debut on The American Forces Radio Network on Monday, November 21. Airing live from 6 - 10 a.m. ET on AFN's Country station, The Big D and Bubba Show will now be heard overseas in 177 countries and all U.S. ships at sea.

Big D and Bubba stated, "Being a part of AFN, and knowing that we can bring a little bit of home to our friends and family who are stationed overseas, is possibly the single biggest accomplishment in radio for us. We couldn't be more excited!"

"Big D and Bubba have been doing their thing very successfully for years and we believe they are a fantastic fit on our Country service. I'm positive our troops overseas will enjoy their show, and they will especially appreciate the love Big D and Bubba have for our heroes serving America abroad," stated Jef Reilly, Director, American Forces Radio Network Worldwide.

The announcement comes on the heels of the following recent affiliate adds for The Big D and Bubba Show: WBYL-FM/Williamsport, Pa.; WLFW/Evansville, Ind.; and KHGE-FM/Fresno, Calif. Big D and Bubba, who were nominated for their third CMA Award in the "National Broadcast Personality of the Year" category in 2011, also announced this week that they have decided to step down from their local afternoon program on Nashville's The Big 98/WSIX in an effort to focus on the continued growth and success of their nationally syndicated show. While the local afternoon show will conclude on November 22, Big D and Bubba will continue to broadcast their national program from WSIX in Nashville.

About The Big D and Bubba Show
Nationally syndicated by Premiere Networks, The Big D and Bubba Show can be heard on more than 50 Country radio stations and is a three-time CMA Award nominee for "National Broadcast Personality of the Year" (2002, 2007 and 20011). Based in Nashville, Tenn., the family-oriented show was originally made popular by their homespun local approach and "candid phone calls." Requests from fans, including comedians, entertainers and Country music artists, poured in for copies of the humorous calls. Today, fans also enjoy interviews and live performances with Country music's biggest names. For more information, please visit
