Thursday, December 1st 2011 Bobby Bones Makes Good on Ice Cream Promise to Baylor Fans
WHO: National radio personality Bobby Bones, host of The Bobby Bones Show
WHAT: Citizens of Waco, Texas, will be treated to free Blue Bell ice cream this Friday, courtesy of Bobby Bones. The national radio personality posted on 97.5 FM/KWTX's Facebook page that he would buy ice cream for the entire city if underdog Baylor University beat Oklahoma University on November 20.
Baylor made headlines when the No. 25 ranked team beat No. 5 ranked OU for the first time in history with a last-second touchdown pass. Bones will be making that victory even sweeter tomorrow as he personally buys and serves ice cream to the city of Waco.
