Tuesday, February 28th 2012 The Bobby Bones Show's Lunchbox Completes Marathon With No Training
LOS ANGELES, February 28, 2012 -- After making fun of participants in the LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon last week, Lunchbox from The Bobby Bones Show was challenged to put his running shoes where his mouth is. On February 24, Lunchbox hit the road around Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, to run 26.2 miles with no training to prove anyone can do it.
Lunchbox, who says he wanted to die at mile 23, finished the marathon in 4 hours and 22 minutes before running an additional "victory" mile. In addition to listeners and fans turning out to cheer him on, #runLBrun trended #2 in the U.S. on Twitter that day.
