Steve Harvey Captures Dual #1 on New York Times Best Sellers List and at the Movies

ATLANTA, GA (April 23, 2012) -- Readers and movie goers show that comedy and love never go out of style, driving STEVE HARVEY'S "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" and its heavily-anticipated movie adaptation to #1 atop the New York Times Best Sellers List and the box office. The comedian, top radio host, best-selling author and "Family Feud" host is back at #1 with "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" for the latest New York Times Best Sellers List dated April 29, 2012 (Paperback Advice & Misc.). Rising up the Best Sellers List for the past 9 weeks, the HarperCollins paperback release of Harvey's 2009 #1 best-seller continues the wave of buzz as Screen Gems' star-studded major motion picture "Think Like A Man" debuts at theaters across the country, opening as the #1 movie in America.

Fueled by strong buzz, sharp comedy, a great mix of acting talents, fervent social support, and more, Screen Gems' "Think Like A Man" opened April 20th beyond industry expectations with a flurry of sold-out showings this weekend, grossing $33 million at the box office, and unseating "The Hunger Games" month-long reign at #1. One of the film's executive producers, Steve Harvey cameos as himself in the "Think Like A Man" adaptation.

Harvey's first book has become a runaway best-seller since its 2009 release, selling 2.8 million copies worldwide and counting. Weaving his signature humor with insight on the male mind, Steve Harvey's book gives women the inside track on men's habits, sharing the ways that men approach dating, commitment and relationships. Inspired by his daughters and listeners asking questions on his radio show for years, Harvey's "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" stayed #1 on the New York Times Best Sellers List for 23 straight weeks (64 weeks total) for the HarperCollins hardcover release, followed by a second best-seller released in 2010.
