Premiere Radio To Broadcast CMA Awards Preview With Keith Urban

LOS ANGELES, September 20, 2006 - On Friday, October 27, Premiere Radio Networks will present its 40th Annual CMA Awards Preview Special with reigning CMA "Entertainer of the Year," Keith Urban, who will give commentary on this year's nominees. The four-hour radio special, which airs in advance of The 40th Annual CMA Awards, will feature music and interviews with all of the top stars, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson, and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, George Strait, among others. The special will be broadcast to stations nationwide.

Urban is nominated for four awards at this year's CMA Awards, including "Entertainer of the Year," "Male Vocalist of the Year," "Single of the Year" for Better Life, and "Song of the Year" for Tonight I Wanna Cry. Urban will soon release his fourth solo studio album, Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing, on November 7. The follow-up to his triple-platinum CD, Be Here, features his hit single, Once in a Lifetime. To date, he has seven #1 singles under his belt.

The 40th Annual CMA Awards will air live on Monday, November 6, at 7 p.m. CST from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn., and will air on ABC Television.
