Premiere Radio Networks Promotes Ira Robbins To Vice President / Editorial Director

LOS ANGELES, January 15, 2007 – Premiere Radio Networks' current Editorial Director, Ira Robbins, adds Vice President to his title. Based in New York City, he reports to Senior Vice President, Network Programs and Services, Jennifer Leimgruber. Robbins will continue to oversee Premiere music and entertainment news prep services, as well as the online audio archive.

Leimgruber stated, "I've had the pleasure of working with Ira for the last 10 years and could not be happier to see him receive this much-deserved recognition for his hard work, leadership and dedication."

A New York City native, Robbins is a 10-year company veteran, having begun work for MJI Broadcasting in 1997, several years prior to its acquisition by Premiere Radio. He is a veteran music journalist who co-founded Trouser Press magazine in 1974 and was subsequently on the staffs of Video magazine and New York Newsday. In addition to contributing to numerous periodicals from Rolling Stone to Entertainment Weekly, he has edited and authored a number of books, including the Trouser Press Guide to '90s Rock.

Robbins graduated from Polytechnic Institute of New York with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife Kristina Juzaitis, who is a Design Director at Details magazine.
