Rachel Robinson On "Costas on the Radio" This Weekend


LOS ANGELES, April 13, 2007 - Tune in to Costas on the Radio this weekend to hear an interview with Rachel Robinson, wife of the late Jackie Robinson, the first African-American Major League Baseball player and Hall of Famer. This Sunday, April 15, is the 60th anniversary of Robinson’s debut as a Brooklyn Dodger.

Costas on the Radio is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Bob Costas and features conversations with newsmakers and significant figures from sports and other walks of life, as well as Costas’ own commentaries and observations. The program is nationally syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on 140 stations including KLAC/Los Angeles, KNBR/San Francisco, WTEM/Washington, D.C., and WDFN/Detroit.
