The Bob & Tom Show Brings the Laughter Home for Third Year

Bob & Tom Show partners with NAPA &USO to send love and laughter

to deployed service members

Indianapolis, IN - For the third year in a row The Bob & Tom Show and NAPA Auto Parts are joining forces with the United Service Organizations (USO) this holiday season to provide a jovial treat to deployed service members. The past two years The Bob & Tom Show have raised over $500,000 and sponsored more than 36,000 care packages to our troops!

Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold of The Bob & Tom Show have put together a comical compilation in efforts of bringing many laughs and smiles to the U.S. armed forces overseas. The CD, which is entitled "Radio Rations", is due for release on November 9th. A total of 20,000 CDs will be shipped to deployed service members, with the goal of Bob & Tom listeners to sponsor 10,000 Operation USO Care Packages that will accompany them. The event is scheduled to commence on November 26th, continuing through December 25th. The album is underwritten by NAPA Auto Parts, who is noted as being the world's largest auto parts network.

The Bob & Tom Show is a comedy-based, nationally syndicated morning program that reaches out to over 150 stations across the country. They are also well known for their charitable work - they have generated millions of dollars, which they have raised and donated to various local charities.

Approved and endorsed by the Department of Defense, the Operation USO Care Package program provides a way for the American public to support the members of the U.S. armed forces who are separated from their families this holiday season, fighting the war on terrorism. Radio audiences can send a deployed service member a care package full of requested items, such as pre-paid calling cards, toiletries, disposable cameras, and sunscreen. Each donor can also include a personal message thanking them for their service and sacrifice.

"We are extremely pleased to support Operation USO Care Package this holiday season," said Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold. "The men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces risk their lives every day and we are proud to offer our audience the chance to personally thank our deployed service members for their service and sacrifice."

Bob & Tom Show listeners can send care packages to deployed service members by visiting www.bobandtom.com and clicking on the "Operation USO Care Package" logo. There, listeners can purchase as many care packages as they wish and include their own personal message of support.

"The USO Care Package program is possible because of the support of The Bob & Tom Show and its audience," said Elaine Rogers, USO-Metro President and Worldwide Administrator for Operation USO Care Package. "With the support of Bob & Tom's listeners, service members around the world will know they have not been forgotten this holiday season."
