Atlanta, Ga., June 12, 2008 - WALR-AM 1340 announced today that beginning June 23, the station will flip from its current Talk format to All-Sports as "1340 THE FAN 2, FOX SPORTS RADIO" featuring FOX Sports Radio programming and The Jim Rome Show.
Dickey Broadcasting Operations Manager Jim Mahanay stated, "We are excited to expand our menu of sports programming in Atlanta to include FOX Sports Radio and Jim Rome."
The station's weekday lineup will feature The Third Shift on FOX with Ben Maller (2 - 6 a.m.), The First Team on FOX with Steve Czaban (6 - 9 a.m.), Out of Bounds on FOX with Craig Shemon & James Washington (9 a.m. - noon), The Jim Rome Show (noon - 3 p.m.), The Drive on FOX with Chris Myers & Sean Farnham (3 - 7 p.m.), FOX GameTime Live with Andrew Siciliano & Krystal Fernandez (7 - 10 p.m.) and FOX GameTime ReAct with JT "The Brick" (10 p.m. - 2 a.m.).
